Mental Health Counselor

She/Her/Hers

Mindi completed her Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Crown College. She describes her educational journey as a transformative experience, shaping her into a skilled and compassionate therapist. With a strong foundation in evidence-based practices, Mindi has honed her expertise in areas such as trauma, anxiety, depression, and couples therapy. Her comprehensive training has equipped her with the necessary tools to effectively support individuals, couples, and families in navigating their mental health challenges.

Mindi's area of specialization is working with trauma survivors. Having witnessed the profound impact that trauma can have on one's life, she is dedicated to helping clients heal and regain control over their lives. Through a combination of techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness practices, Mindi assists clients in processing past traumas and developing healthy coping mechanisms.

In addition to working with individual clients, Mindi has experience providing counseling services to couples. As relationships can be complex and riddled with challenges, her goal is to create a safe space for partners to communicate openly and work towards building a stronger connection. My approach combines elements of Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Gottman Method Couples Therapy to help couples improve communication, deepen emotional intimacy, and strengthen their relationship.

Mindi is excited to meet you and is looking forward to hearing your story while providing a safe, warm, and comfortable environment for her to listen.

"I believe that mental health concerns can affect individuals across all age groups and backgrounds. From college students struggling with academic stressors to older adults facing life transitions or managing chronic illnesses, I work well with clients from diverse populations. My practice is rooted in empathy, respect, and cultural sensitivity; I strive to create a supportive environment where all clients feel heard and validated.

As a therapist at Creative Counseling and Studio, I am committed to helping individuals achieve sustainable personal growth through evidence-based therapies. In my practice, I prioritize creating a warm and non-judgmental atmosphere where clients can explore their inner world freely. It brings me great joy to witness clients overcome challenges, build resilience, and achieve their desired goals."
